From Germany
Take the Munich-Salzburg motorway to the Inntal motorway junction, continue to Kufstein, then via Kitzbühel, Mittersill to Zell am See, via the Bruck bypass towards Bischofshofen to Gries. After the village sign, turn right to a small railway crossing and follow the road for approx. 2 km. or take the motorway Munich-Salzburg to the Inzell exit, then via Lofer, Saalfelden to Zell am See, Bruck and Gries. With this option you do not use the Austrian motorway and therefore do not need a motorway toll sticker!
via the Tauern motorway
If you don't want to drive over the small German corner, you can also take the Tauern motorway, exit at Bischofshofen and continue on the main road to Taxenbach and on to Gries.
via the Inntal motorway
Coming from Italy or Switzerland, take the Inntal motorway to the Wörgl Ost exit, continue to St. Johann/Tyrol, via Kitzbühel, Pass Thurn, Mittersill on to Zell am See, bypass Bruck to Gries.

Alternative route via "kleines Deutsches Eck" - Bad Reichenhall (D) - Schneizlreuth (D) - Lofer (A) and on towards Saalfelden / Zell am See.
From eastern Austria
Alternative route via A9 - Liezen - Ennstal Bundesstraße in the direction of Radstadt/Altenmarkt.
From Germany via Passau
Alternative route via Linz - Voralpenkreuz - A9 motorway - Liezen - Ennstal Bundesstraße towards Radstadt/Altenmarkt.
By train
Take the train to Zell am See station, where it is advisable to hire a car, as our location makes the use of public transport somewhat difficult.
