The exceptional location in Pinzgau

Our house is located in the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park, in Taxenbach, only a few kilometers of the idyllic mountain town of Zell am See. In addition to the Zeller See – one of the cleanest bathing lakes of Europe – and the hiking and ski paradise Schmittenhöhe, Zell am See has many more highlights to offer both summer and winter.

Rauris, the golden valley of the Alps, can also be reached inn a few minutes. This offers many possibilities for nature lovers, hikers or mountaineers of all ages as they are 

• guided hikes with the  „National Park Rangers“,
• pleasant walks to the pastures in Rauris,
• Bearded vulture watching in Krumltal
• or mountain tours - for example on the Sonnblick - for experienced mountaineers

Rauris offers something for everyone.

In addition, the most beautiful destinations in the region, such as

• the high alpine road to the Großglockner , 
• the waterfalls of Krimml
• the Kaprun high-altitude reservoirs,
• the Kitzsteinhorn,
• the gorge of Kitzlochklamm,
